This ring will run both No-Gi and Gi matches. The concept of the ring is to give those who did not place 1st, 2nd or 3rd in their division another opportunity to compete.Once your division is over, bring your registration card to the consolation ring and our ring coordinator will match you up with others that are similar in weight and age. This will be a great way for competitors to get extra matches and earn valuable competition experience. Kids and Teens, you will be taken care of at your ring.
SANDBAGGERSBEWARENAGA works diligently to prevent "sandbagging",or the practice of fighting down skill levels to ensure one takes home anaward.NAGA has been working with RANKED to track all fighters and rankedgrappling events to produce true "national standings."A by-product of thesestandings is our knowledge of who has competed and at which level.Front doorpersonnel will use RANKED data to determine whether or not individuals who havefought in past events belong in a higher skill level (i.e. placed 1st at a priorNAGA event).
ScheduleAdults please bring a photo ID to weigh-in. If you have any questions call NAGA at 860-295-0403.
